If you’re planning to lead medical teams\, you owe it to your teammates to be good at it! \nDr. Morton has over thirty-five years of experience in emergency medicine\, urgent care\, travel medicine and medical leadership. Most recently he retired from the position of Senior Medical Director for CVS MinuteClinic\, a pioneer of the retail health care model. Dr. Morton’s undergraduate and medical degrees are from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill\, his residency in emergency medicine was done at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis\, MN\, and he earned an MBA/MHA from Pfeiffer University at Charlotte. He has a deep conviction that we will be led out of the morass that is our current health care system through leadership that empowers patients\, not politicians and bureaucrats.
