Providers rush through appointments\, patients have difficulty getting simple questions answered\, and insurers enjoy excessive profits. This complete erosion of the doctor-patient relationship has led many physicians to believe that the system as it stands does not work for them and the only way forward is to chart a new course.\n\nJoin us for a conversation with Dr. Leila Javidi\, Founder of Rebel + Thrive DPC. Her desire to transform health care from just the avoidance of illness to being about complete wellness and thriving has made her a widely followed physician voice on social media. LEILA JAVIDI:\nA proud Cleveland native and Ohio State alum\, Dr. Leila Javidi is a passionate primary care physician who built the Rebel & Thrive brand out of a belief that there has got to be a better way than what our broken healthcare system offers to patients. Dr. Leila earned her MD and a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology at St. George’s University. She also completed a public health internship at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Family Medicine Residency at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s in Columbus\, Ohio. Board certified in Family Medicine\, she’s been practicing as a primary care physician since 2016.
