BRI Fed Up obesity epidemic

POST-EVENT SUMMARY: In conjunction with the week-long series of events put on by the student-led committee that promotes National Public Health Awareness week on campus, our BRI-Dartmouth chapter held a screening of the film “Fed Up” for 16 students.”Fed Up” is a recent documentary about the obesity epidemic. It is a very good film that discusses how the food industry has captured the regulatory power and influence of the government. it does not come across as “free market propaganda” to the average viewer, but there is an unmistakable message that government involvement in these matters can make things worse.
