September 7, 2017 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

All are welcome to attend this free event.

Dr. Paul WrightDr. Paul Wright is the Neurology Chair at Northwell Medical Group. He is a Sackler alumnus visiting in Israel as a guest lecturer for our Neurology block. He will be giving a talk on his experience in private practice and the challenges and opportunities he faced in that sector.

For more information on Dr. Wright, please visit his website.

POST-EVENT SUMMARY: Dr. Wright prefaced his talk by sharing his experience and path through medicine, and then he opened up to the audience for questions.

There were 36 students in attendance, and we managed to have Dr. Wright answer at least 10 questions on topics ranging from his experience on the board at Northwell Group to efficiencies he’s made in his practice—to the pros and cons of his time in private practice vs. as an employee in a hospital system.

One student remarked on how knowledgable Dr. Wright was about the broad coverage of topics covered throughout the Q&A. Another student expressed gratitude that we were able to get more time with Dr. Wright in this Q&A format. (Dr. Wright was originally here for a week to lead part of Sackler School of Medicine’s neurology course.)” ~Jordan Halevy, Sackler-BRI chapter founder & president
