POST-EVENT SUMMARY: About 12 students attended Dr. Cech’s lecture. She spoke about her personal experience instituting a Patient Centered Medical Home in her private practice in Southern Ohio. She talked about some of the obstacles that created the situation in which she decided to institute this type of practice, as well as the political and insurance climate at that time. She also talked about the improvement in her income, practice efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
