Dr. Marion Mass, of Jellinek Pediatrics and a member of BRI’s Speakers Bureau will speak to us on preserving the doctor-patient relationship in an era of increasing regulation. Refreshments will be served.
POST-EVENT REPORT:
This event was co-sponsored by Synapse and the Student Pediatrics Medical Association. Many of the students (particularly those not affiliated with Synapse) had limited knowledge of health policy/economics. Many students seemed to have come to ask questions mostly regarding pediatrics. Once Dr. Mass began discussing her stance on free market health policy and economics, providing supportive details for free market healthcare, these students were completely enthralled and shifted all their attention and questions to this topic. Dr. Mass did a wonderful job explaining it to the students and answering their questions. The students have overwhelmingly expressed their excitement and interest in learning more about free market healthcare.
